Fridays on Forest
Fridays on Forest Wraps Up 2024 Season
The 2024 season of Fridays on Forest came to a festive close with the final event on October 25th, drawing a lively crowd of 714 attendees! This series has become a true staple in downtown Great Bend, providing a vibrant space for community members and visitors to gather, enjoy live music, connect with local vendors, and celebrate all that Great Bend has to offer.
Reflecting on the season, Fridays on Forest has continued to thrive thanks to the enthusiastic support from so many in our community. We’re deeply grateful to the Barton Community College Baseball team for their invaluable assistance in setting up and tearing down each event, along with the Bat Cats Baseball organization, which supported us through the summer months. Their commitment and teamwork have made it possible for each event to run smoothly and kept the spirit of Fridays on Forest alive all season long.
We are also beyond grateful to our Great Bend Alive Events committee members, whose dedication and hard work were key to executing each event this year. Their passion for bringing our community together has helped Fridays on Forest become a can’t-miss highlight of the downtown experience.
This year’s Fridays on Forest was made possible by the support of our dedicated sponsors, vendors, and talented musicians. From food trucks and local artisans to live bands and performers, their involvement has been at the heart of each event, transforming downtown into a lively gathering place that families and friends look forward to month after month.
We’re already looking ahead to next season! To help us shape an even more exciting and welcoming experience for Fridays on Forest in 2025, we invite you to share your thoughts and feedback through our online feedback form HERE.
